NextGen Leaders is partnering with Competitive Resources Inc. to offer the Connecticut Home Energy Solution program to Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) customers. Our apologies to customers of United Illuminating (UI), who only offer the $75 co-pay to customers that do not heat with oil (oil heat UI customers pay a $300 co-pay), and people in other states.
CRI crews go into homes to perform a comprehensive energy assessment that shows areas where savings can be made, immediately perform weatherization improvements to fix energy-wasting problem areas, install energy-efficient light bulbs, and inform people about government rebate programs if they want to upgrade appliances, etc. They don't try to sell anything!

How much does all this cost? When you sign up by Sept. 1, tell CRI that you heard about them through NextGen Leaders/PeaceJam, and pay only $50 for this service (after Sept. 1, you'll pay $75, which is still a great value).
When you do this, CRI will make a donation to NextGen Leaders for every home that has this service performed. That money will help us continue offering PeaceJam programs as well as financial assistance for PeaceJammers to attend the PeaceJam Northeast Slam and Youth Conference (we've provided more than $20,000 so far).
