2011 PEACEJAM NORTHEAST YOUTH CONFERENCE: The 2011 PeaceJam Northeast Youth Conference will be held in the spring of 2011 at the University of Hartford, in Hartford, CT. Hundreds of PeaceJammers in 8th through 12th grades will join a Nobel Peace Laureate for a life-changing weekend, exploring issues of peace and social justice. Participants will be inspired by the Laureates courageous story, perform hands-on service projects in the surrounding community, attend thought-provoking and skill-building workshops, and present their Glboal Call to Action projects to the Laureate and their peers. Conference registration fees are $125 for the weekend, including food, but excluding accomodations.

2010 PEACEJAM NORTHEAST SLAM: The 2010 PeaceJam Northeast Slam will be held in October (date to be confirmed) at the University of Hartford. Looking In Theater, a Hartford-based company of high school performers, will present an interactive performance on issues that affect the lives of today's youth, followed by group discussions. Participants will also attend one of a series of thought-provoking workshops, and groups will share the results and learnings from last year's Global Call to Action projects, providing information and ideas about how they addressed the issues of the Global Call to Action in their communities.
